The Braveheart Company

Elderslie is the legendary birthplace of Scotland's greatest hero William Wallace (the real one, not Mel Gibson). Our Church, Elderslie Kirk lies just across the road from the famous Wallace Monument with the ancient Yew Tree.

And here, 100 years ago, the 1st Elderslie Company was founded. One hundred years of service to our village and to the surrounding district.

We are still a vigorous expanding Company. We are part of Paisley and District Battalion and participate in the wide range of their activities.

But the kernel is the Company within the walls of the Church. Here we provide an entertaining and character building programme for Boys aged 5 to 18 in the following Sections:
