The Sleepover FIRST: The Leader's account: On Friday night we had the Junior Section sleepover. The boys were very noisy but very good. They enjoyed the activities - all designed to tire them out (but, alas, not effectively). They enjoyed all the food. It's amazing what 15 boys can consume in a short time. They were very excited setting up their beds. For many of the boys it was the first time they had stayed overnight with so many of their friends, and for some it was their first night away from their own beds! That made it very exciting and unfortunately their adrenalin kept them going until the wee small hours, (though I doubt the claims of some who thought they were awake until 3am). I heard plenty of snoring by 1am! Louise had warned me she could sleep through an earthquake and she was right, dressed in her sister's furry boots she was able to settle down nicely oblivious to the chaos. First to sleep last to waken, a gold star Louise! Mr Alexander came down for moral support but thankfully we didn't need his help to deal with any intruders! The alarm clock was not required to waken us on Saturday morning!! There was plenty time for breakfast, a film, games, packing and the packed lunch production line and doing dishes and tidying the hall. Thanks boys for making sure we had enough time ! An enjoyable day at Loudon Castle followed, the boys are willing to try anything and will stand on their tip toes to reach the height restrictions (while I panic that they will be safe!) The journey home was fairly quiet and I'm sure there would have been a second quiet evening for most of the parents! Fiona Niro NOW for the REAL stories: |

On Friday night we went to BB to stay the night. We watched Good Boy and had a beetle drive. At night we couldn't get to sleep. Lewis was snoring like a pig. In the morning we had breakfast. I had cocoa pops and a cup of tea. Fraser |

I had 2 muffins and 1 pancake. I slept beside Jack and Ewan then we watched Good Boy. I went to sleep but didn't. I was up till 3 in the morning. On the next day I woke up and had a pillow fight and then watched Madagascar and then we had another pillow fight and then we went to the other hall and played dodge ball. Josh |

It was very noisy. Louise was wearing furry boots. We had a beetle drive, watched a movie called Good Boy We got to sleep at 4am and woke up at 6.15am. We had breakfast and went to the gym hall to play football. Ewan |

I went to bed at 11pm and woke up at 6.15am. During the night we had a pillow fight and Fraser, Dylan and I pushed each other. When we were in bed we were shining the torch on the clock and talking when we were supposed to be asleep. When we woke up we had another pillow fight and then went into the hall and played dodge ball. Craig |
